Responsibility

The Qlik Business Development Manager is responsible for the acquisition of net new Qlik customers for Catalyst and generation of new licence and project business from those customers.

Role Duties

  • Prospect and engage in lead generation campaigns, leveraging marketing and the vendor community
  • Manage the sales cycle effectively, utilising a value selling approach to drive Qlik licence and professional services revenue in the territory
  • Ensure our customers success with their deployed Qlik solutions; helping them to find new ways to add value with Qlik across their organisations
  • Presentations at external marketing events
  • Achieve or exceed quota and accurately forecast quarterly
Core Skills/Expertise
  • A highly motivated lead hunter, who has existing relationships across the territory and/or within our Partner Ecosystem
  • Experienced in managing complex sales, making use of Customer Centric Selling (CCS) or an equivalent solution selling methodology
  • Knowledgeable in creating proposals with an understanding of revenue recognition and royalty structures
  • Experienced in working with vendors to enable them to maximise revenue within their territory
  • Understanding of the Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboarding, Data Visualisation marketplace
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A self-starter, able to work independently within a matrixed organisation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience direct solution selling in the territory
  • 2+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Software or equivalent
  • Strong record of achieving revenue quota and experience of working with vendors
  • Commercial market sales experienced candidates preferred.
