Our approach to corporate social responsibility embodies our values and beliefs. We take our role within society very seriously, to be a good employer, to deal fairly with suppliers and customers, to behave responsibly and to support good causes.
Working with charities and promoting worthwhile causes is extremely important to us and this year we are hosting our third charity event, a Halloween Ball at York Racecourse on 3 November. The event is in support of Martin House, who provide hospice care for children and young people.
We cordially invite you to our Halloween Ball
No tricks, just treats and something to suit all
Whether ghoul or ghost, raising spirits as potions craft
To dine, then dance like zombies, alongside Thriller laughs
So, join us on this magic eve of doom
Dust away those cobwebs and alight your broom!

Our charity work began with our very first Charity Ball, to provide much needed fundraising activity for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We raised over £6,000 with a James Bond ‘GoldenEye’ Themed Charity Ball.
For our second charity ball we fundraised for St Leonard’s Hospice, with a Masquerade-themed evening. The event was once again a resounding success and this time we raised over £7,000!
Other initiatives include participation in the EMC Silicon Cup which is the largest IT industry sailing regatta, open to novices and experienced sailors from different organisations’ and also Channel Partners. The event has grown rapidly since its inception in 2000 and sailing activities run alongside an action packed programme of social events and fundraising challenges to support the following causes, Dreams Come True, Jubilee Sailing Trust and the NSPCC.
